West Cornwall is a land of beauty, drama, pre-historic sites, top surfing spots, sandy beaches, fabulous gardens and mile upon mile of cliff walks. Add in the cultural magnets of Tate St Ives, the Penlee Art Gallery in Penzance and the open-air Minack Theatre and you have some compelling reasons to visit.

We have created a little brochure for you to give you some more detailed information of things to do.

The iconic destination of St Michael’s Mount is just across the water from The Godolphin - a short boat trip away or when the tide opens and reveals the historic causeway, you can walk across to the island. We have all the information and a few insider tips to make the most of your time in West Cornwall, so please just ask our team, who would be happy to point you in the right direction.

An historic, chartered town, Marazion today is a lively place with an active community and a plethora of cafes, pubs and art galleries, as well as a local store, post office. The South West Coastal Path runs through the town and the RSPB nature reserve is home to Cornwall’s largest reed bed and an abundance of plants and birds.

If you want to plan a few day trips, the Isles of Scilly could be one idea, leaving either from Land’s End Airport or Penzance docks. The Eden Project is about one hour away and the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth is well worth the 45-minute journey. If you prefer to ditch the car, the team have all the information on bus routes, bicycle hire and train times.
