Welcome to

The Godolphin

Hi everyone,

It’s with a heavy heart that we’ve had to make the incredibly tough decision to close The Godolphin with immediate effect until such a time it’s deemed wise to reopen.

We believe we have a responsibility to our team, our guests and our local community in West Cornwall to heed government advice and help keep everyone as safe as we possibly can during this unprecedented and difficult time.

Our reception is busy contacting every guest that is booked with us for the foreseeable future.  Please be patient whilst we work through these calls. With this closure, we will be cancelling all our upcoming events and will be fully refunding all tickets.

To our loyal, wonderful team and customers – a huge and heartfelt thank you.  Together we will pull through this with kindness and consideration for each other.

We’re really looking forward to the day we can all share a drink with you again.  Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates on when that day might be – let’s hope it’s soon.

Thank you again,

Laura Clerehugh

General Manager, The Godolphin

The Godolphin is a contemporary beachside restaurant with ten beautiful en-suite rooms, located opposite the iconic tidal island of St Michael's Mount.

We are a busy and vibrant restaurant serving locally sourced food, and a perfect base for exploring West Cornwall.

The bar, restaurant and beachfront terrace offer ample seating to relax and soak up the surrounds. Whether it’s a late breakfast, afternoon tea or al fresco drinks, hours at The Godolphin can easily be lost gazing seaward. In summer months, watch the international gig racing, sit back and read the newspapers or take in the sunset over local ale. The friendly team are welcoming and happy to assist you at any time.
