A Gorgeous Coastal Escape with Incredible Food and Truly Dog‑Friendly Service
Although the weather wasn’t on our side and we couldn’t enjoy the famous view of St Michael’s Mount, our stay at The Godolphin was still absolutely wonderful. The hotel’s warmth, comfort, and exceptional hospitality more than made up for the stormy skies outside. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. There was scaffolding being erected but we knew about it in advance and this didn’t impact negatively on our experience. Our evening meal was a real highlight — the steak was cooked to perfection, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The cocktails were equally impressive: well‑balanced, creative, and clearly made with care…

A lovely stay...
We stayed for a night after Storm Goretti. A lovely warm welcome, gorgeous room with a view of the Mount, and a delectable dinner before bed. Even though the rooms are upstairs and over the restaurant, they must be soundproofed as we heard no noise at all. A lovely stay.

A welcoming break in a wonderful location.
We had a fantastic stay! We were surprised to get an upgrade to a sea facing room ‘Kings Cove’ which had an amazing view of st Michael’s mountain and beach line, it was wonderfu! The room was large and luxurious with everything you could hope for, we were even gifted a couple of free Korev beers from the mini bar. We booked dinner, again a great vista from our table. The food was good and the service was great. Breakfast was perfect too, it had everything you could think of. A most enjoyable stay but above all the staff were welcoming, friendly and available if you need anything. I would highly recommend.

Dog friendly retreat
We booked this time off for our anniversary , the first two nights were at the Godolphin , what a luxury hotel with wonderful views , to hear the crashing sea from our bed at night was so relaxing and walking our dog along the beach just outside was fabulous.
We enjoyed two amazing breakfasts and evening meals .
Staff were very helpful and friendly as well as knowledgeable about the area .
It is a place we would love to return to .
